Westside Precinct
The Newton County Sheriff’s Office Westside Precinct is committed to protect, preserve, and uphold the constitutional and rights of all citizens through unbiased and courteous law enforcement with integrity, respect and professionalism. We strive to strengthen public confidence, develop and maintain positive relations with the community and to promote a safe and friendly community through enforcement and education.

Sheriff Office Westside Precinct at is located at 3665 Salem Road. The precinct is managed by a precinct commander and administration staff, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. late evening hours is subject to change and the precinct is closed on county recognized holidays. The Westside Precinct is open for citizens to come and file reports, pick up copies of incident reports, accident reports, and back-ground checks or simply to ask questions.

The Westside Precinct is used by Patrol and other departments of the Newton County Sheriff office for roll call, briefing and community outreach programs. The Precinct is located on the western side of Newton County, which services the larger portion of Newton County citizens due to its population. The Deputy Sheriff’s assigned uses this location to hold briefings and special operations to include outreach programs and responding to calls for service.
